When most people think of stories, they remember reading, watching, or listening to other people's tales through books, films, or radio shows. But not all stories need to have momentous plots. At Listen Up! we think that any event that has meaning is a story, so everyone has stories to tell.

Ordinary objects can help inspire the storytelling process. We all interact with objects in our everyday lives, but we rarely actively think about them or engage with them unless they're new and shiny or old and break down. But if we stop and think about them, we quickly realize that many of these objects are important to us: we attribute values to them, work to purchase them, and depend upon them. These objects have stories to tell, both their own and ours. How you tell that story is completely up to you!
